Rebekie Bennington: Who is she?
I am a graduate of New York City’s Fashion Institute of Technology in Illustration, currently working as a storyboard, design, and storybook artist at Nickelodeon for Nick Jr.’s ‘Blaze and the Monster Machines’.
Living in the tight quarters of a big city, has made me particularly love designing tight, cluttered spaces, with a bent towards the macabre and fantastic. Whether its a sprawling landscapes, alien food carts, or the props for a magical library, I’d like to bring my skills as a designer to your next animated project.
I’ve worked as a designer and storyboard artist for several studios including Nickelodeon, Titmouse, and Silvergate Media, and boast over 15 years experience working with traditional mediums; I aim to bring a keen sense of composition, and color to all my work. Being skilled in multiple mediums lends to being adept at switching my style to match the production, whether it’s super stylized, or painterly. I prefer to work quick, and tight so concepts are clear from the first stages of a project; your deadline is no problem.
My work has been published in a number of role playing games and graphic novels including:
•The covers of issues 1-5 of Doodle Jump published by Dynamite Entertainment
•Burning Wheel RPG – multiple volumes
•CBLDF Transmetropolitan: All Around the World
The Pepper Chronicles:
I also helped design and ink the Pepper Chronicles, along with artist and creator Anna-Maria Jung, and writer Daniel Scribner. Pepper Chronicles was published in Europe in 2017, with and will hopefully be published in English in the United States at a later date.
I have been featured on tee a day sites such as Teefury and shirt.woot – and sell current designs on RedBubble, Teepublic, and Society6 (links in the menu!)
